National Librarianโ€™s Day

Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College of Nursing celebrated National Librarianโ€™s Day in honor of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, highlighting the vital role of libraries in education and inspiring students to develop reading habits.

Republic Day

The Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotism at Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College of Nursing, Rohanwadi, Jalna on 26th January. The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem and cultural performances by the students, reflecting the spirit of unity and diversity.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Priti Ware Dhakne (MD Ayurveda, Founder President โ€“ Late Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha) as the Chief Guest, who inspired the students with her motivational speech on the values of the Constitution and the importance of serving the nation through healthcare and compassion.

The Fresherโ€™s Day celebration at Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College of Nursing was a vibrant and memorable occasion organized to welcome the new batch of B.Sc. Nursing and GNM students with warmth and enthusiasm.

Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony

The Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony for the B.Sc Nursing and GNM students (2024โ€“2025 batch) of Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College of Nursing, Jalna will be held on Friday, 4th April 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Multipurpose Hall.

The event will be graced by Chief Guest Prof. Deepak Nagargoje, a respected social worker from Shantiwan Orphanage, Shirur (Beed), and Guest of Honour Dr. Priti Ware Dhakne, MD in Ayurveda and Founder President of the institution. Distinguished invitees include Dr. Mukund Sabnis, Prof. Dr. Susheela Nikam, Dr. Baliram Bagal, Prof. Anvarsab Naregal, and Dr. Devrao Chaure.

International Women’s Day Celebration

Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College of Nursing, Rohanwadi, Jalna, proudly celebrated International Womenโ€™s Day on 8th March 2025 under the theme “Empower a Woman, Empower a Nation!” The program was presided over by Smt. Sheelatai Khedkar, Secretary of the Late Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne Multipurpose Charitable Trust. We were honored to welcome our esteemed Chief Guests โ€”

Cookery Program

The Cookery Program at Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College offers hands-on training in multi-cuisine cooking, baking, food hygiene, and presentation. Designed for students passionate about culinary arts, the course blends practical skills with modern kitchen techniques. Students gain real-world experience through workshops, live demos, and internships, preparing them for careers as chefs, bakers, and food entrepreneurs.

Breast Feeding Week 2025

Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne Nursing College is celebrating World Breastfeeding Week (1st to 7th August) with the theme โ€œEnabling Breastfeeding: Making a Difference for Working Parents.โ€ The event aims to spread awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for infant and maternal health. Activities include guest lectures, poster competitions, street plays, and community awareness programs conducted by nursing students.

Independence Day 2025

Dr. Subhashrao Dhakne College of Nursing , Rohnawadi, Jalna, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The program began with the flag-hoisting ceremony by Smt. Shilatai Khedekar , Secretary of the institution. The event was graced by Smt. Sushma Rajmane (Chairperson, Local Governing Committee) and Shri Ankush Ganjakar (Member, Local Governing Committee) as special guests.

A Principal, Staff Members, Students, and Committee Members actively participated, showcasing patriotism through cultural activities and performances. The celebration highlighted the values of unity, freedom, and national pride.
