Scholarship will not be applicable for following points:

  • Students who leave the course mid-way and seek admission in another course.
  • Education gap of more than five years.
  • Missing original Transfer Certificate.
  • Parents’ income exceeds Rs. 8 Lakhs (not applicable for SC & ST categories).
  • Missing Caste Certificate or Caste Validity.
  • Age above 35 years at the time of admission.
  • Scholarship is applicable for only two boys in a family (no limit for girls).

Eligibility for Admission

BSc Nursing

1.All Candidates desirous to take admission for B.Sc. Nursing Course under state quota or Institutional quota must have appeared for MH- Nursing-CET and declared eligible by the Competent Authority

2.The candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality.

3.Domicile of Candidate: The Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra

4. Eligibility for Institutional Quota: Will be as declared by State Government during CAP process from time to time. The detailed information will be declared in CAP information brochure.

5. All admissions to State / Institutional Quota will be through MH-Nursing-CET only.

6. A candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination, from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) is eligible to appear for this examination.

7. The candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualified examination i.e. (10 + 2). Furthermore, the candidates belonging to SC / ST or Information Brochure (8) other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as stated above. English is a compulsory subject in 10 + 2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing OR as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council from time to time

 8. Upper age limit for admission to B.Sc. Nursing is as per the guidelines of Indian Nursing Council Regulation, 2020 Dated 5th July 2021. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31 December of the year in which admission is sought. There is no Upper age limit for the BSc Nursing, and GNM course as per Indian Nursing Council. As per INC Notification F.No1-6/LT/2023 – INC Dated 21 August 2023,

9. The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Document Verification as per proforma. Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates. [As per Indian Nursing Council {Revised Regulations and Curriculum for B.Sc (Nursing) Program}, Regulations, 2020, dated 5th July, 2021]
